Final exam: Tuesday, May 2, 9am.
Alternate final : Thursday April 27, 12:00 noon.

Tests: There are four tests scheduled on the syllabus, and one final exam. Tests dates cannot be changed. Only the best 3 out of the four tests will
be considered for the final grade. The lowest of the 4 tests can be dropped.
The final exam, which is comprehensive, cannot be dropped.
Each test is worth 24% of the grade.
The final is also worth 24% of the grade.
Quizzes: There will be four quizzes during the semester. Each
quiz will be worth 1% of the grade. The quizzes will start exactly on the hour.
No late or makeup quizzes will be given. The quiz dates are:
January 18, January 27, February 17, March 15.
Scheduled Test dates: February 3, March 1, March 27, April 12.
Grades: The usual scale (A:93-100, A-: 90-92, B+: 87-89, B:83-86,
B-:80-82, C+:77-79, C: 73-76, C-: 70-72, D+: 67-69, D: 63-66, D-:60-62, F:0-59) will be used.
Grades will be based on the three tests (100 points each) and the final exam (100 points).
Honor code: All work submitted for credit is subject to the provisions of the Vanderbilt Honor Code.

March 8. Mid-semester undergraduate deficiency reports due in to University Registrar.
March 4-12. Spring break.
March 17. Last day undergraduates may withdraw from spring semester courses; last day undergraduates can change from pass-fail to graded status in a course.
April 24. Last class for math 198 (it will be a review session).
April 25. Classes end in Arts and Science.
April 27-May 4. Reading days and examinations in Arts and Science.
