Shanks Workshop
``Conformal Field Theory and Von Neumann Algebras''

October 29-30, 2011

Workshop Description
The workshop ``Conformal Field Theory and Von Neumann Algebras'' will be held October 29-30, 2011, at Vanderbilt University in Stevenson Center, Building 1 (math department). The workshop will explore the deep connections between CFT and von Neumann algebras.

Funding for the workshop is provided by DARPA Grant HR0011-11-1-0001, the Shanks endowment and Vanderbilt University. If you are interested in participating in the workshop and need financial support, please contact one of the organizers.
